How long will it take for my site to be up and running?
This depends on the type and complexity of site you want. Standard wait time is two to three weeks. Heavy order volume and site size is also a major factor in build time.

What is a Domain Name?
A Domain Name is the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) that people use to go to your site. The Domain Name for this site is "http://www.TornadoInteractive.com". Depending on availability, you can have just about any Domain Name you like.

How do you program Web Sites?
Web Sites are coded in the HTML (HyperText Markup Language). We use DHTML, a combination of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). While some Web Designers like to use programs call Publishers to make the site for them, Tornado Interactive designs all of our sites using Raw HTML, programming it by hand to give us complete control over the design, and layout of your site.

What is Web Hosting?
After your Web Site is built, it has to be "Hosted" on a server. Hosting a site is basically putting your Web Site on a specially designed computer with an extremely high speed connection, known as a Server. What can I put on my Web Site?
Simple answer: Anything you want. This is your site, and whatever you want on it can go there. Tornado Interactive, however, will not design offensive sites, such as pornography.

What kind of Maintenance is required for my site?
What good is a site without information that is up to date? Maintenance takes care of just that. If there is a calendar, or other information that must be changed on a regular basis on your site, we can make it happen. What will my site look like?
If you take advantage of our Custom Design option, the site can look any way you want it to. You have complete control over the layout and design of your site. If you use a our Template Design option, however, you are restricted to the layout and design you pick from our list of Templates.
